Ko Wai Mātou Who We Are
We are storytellers. Explorers. Craftspeople. Keepers - of culture and history. Entertainers at heart.
Caravan Carpark Films is a boutique New Zealand screen production company based in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. We develop and produce Feature Films, Series and Digital Projects shaped by culturally-edgy voices and a global outlook. Founded in 2019 by award-winning producer, writer, and director Angela Cudd, we ground our processes and ways of working in our Indigenous Māori Heritage - a strength that adds clear value to everything we make. Our Kaupapa (purpose) is simple: back distinctive voices, do the hard craft work and connect stories with the audiences who will care most.
Tō Mātou Tukunga How We Work
TALENT LED & CRAFT DRIVEN - We champion clear creative leadership and disciplined execution.
AUDIENCE SPECIFICITY - Each project’s audience is carefully thought-out and we're actively thinking of ways to reach our audiences in fun, thoughtful and bespoke ways.
DELIVERY FOCUSED - We think early about packaging, positioning and release, so partners know where the work is headed.
Ō Mātou Pou Our Commitments
DO RIGHT BY THE STORY - Protect the core idea while enabling excellence at every stage.
DO RIGHT BY THE PEOPLE - Safe, respectful sets and equitable pathways.
PROUDLY INDIGENOUS - We're committed to the revitalisation of reo Māori (native NZ language) and embedding of our Māoritanga (Māori culture) in all that we do.
BUILD FOR LONGEVITY - Reusable systems, rollover work and deliverables that serve sales, publicity and archival needs.
For those who believe stories still matter.
What we do is more than "content". It's our history, our legacy, our culture. Stay close - or at least stay curious.
